1.Co-Wash (wash with conditioner) once a week
2.Use sulfate -free, moisturizing or hydrating shampoo if product build up. Sulfate strips hair of natural oils, as there is no direct supply of nutrients from your scalp into the extension strands. It’s vital that you use a no sulfate shampoo to avoid drying the hair out.
3.Use only luke-warm water when washing. Hot water raises the cuticles and makes hair less smooth
4.Wash the hair gently in a downward motion with your palms, do not scrub or bunch the hair together as this will cause open cuticles to rub against each other causing friction.
5.Brush before bed and before washing to ensure there are no natural occurring tangles caused by wind or friction
6.Use a wet detangling brush or large paddle brush for detangling
7.Wrap or braid hair and wear a scar and/or bonnet while sleeping to increase the longevity of silkiness. Cotton pillows cause friction against the hair and makes the hair fray.
8.Hair can be colored but recommend it be done by a licensed professional.
9.Virgin Natural Color hair can be bleached.
10.Pre-colored hair can be colored only darker not lighter
11.Use a heat protectant when applying hot tools
12.Avoid excessive oils, heavy hair products< and hairspray to avoid weighing down and drying out your hair. Lightweight shine serums in moderation works best
